The awardees were recognized for their involvement and meritorious accomplishment during the conduct of SAFE 2016, police operations and other commendable accomplishments. One noteworthy was the recent accomplishment of Cavite particularly Bacoor City Police Station wherein more r less 10 kilos and 400 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated and 4 suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted on May 17, 2016 at Park Homes, Brgy. Queensrow, West Central, Bacoor City. Anaother remarkable deed that was given recognition was the act of the couple police officers namely PO2 Raymond L Matundan and PO1 Mary Joy M Matundan both members of Talisay Municipal Police Station of Batangas Police Provincial Office who displayed honesty and dedication by bringing back without hesitations to the owner of the lost pouch bag in May 14, 2016, containing large amount of money, passbook, ATM Cards and other valuable belongings owned by Mrs. Teresa De Leon Maravilla of Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The story of the couple were already featured in various TV program both local and national and was also liked by netizens i the social media after it went viral. They were also given recognition by the local government of Taisay for such exemplary display of character. The awards were presented by PRO4A Officer-In-Charge PCSUPT Ronald V Santos assisted by Regional Chief Directorial Staff PSSUPT Bernabe M. Balba.

During the ceremony, PSSUPT Ronnie S Montejo, Chief Regional Operations and Plans Division discussed the Do’s and Dont’s or the Standard Operation procedure while PSUPT Ramy Tagnong, Chief of the Legal Service tackled salient points on arrest and other important matters like the observation of human rights. PSUPT Julius Cruz, Chief of the Pastoral Office led the send-off prayer and bless the contingents. “Remember that this is not an ordinary event. The world and the international media is watching us so we should perform the best we can. I hope that with the reminders you heard today, you will observe and put it to practice. I have instructed my staff to be in constant communication with your team leaders so we could easily address your concerns.” PCSUPT Aplasca said. These personnel will augment the force that were earlier positioned in the different areas of Metro Manila to ensure the safe and successful visit of loacl delegates of the member country leaders, ministers, their respective spouses and other delagates. PRO4A CDM contingents include personnel from Provincial Office of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal,Quezon, and, the Regional Public Saftey Battalion 4A. PRO4A contingents also include personnel from Medical Division, Investigation, Human Rights Affairs Office (HRAO), and Public Information Office (PIO). The ceremony ended with a Boodle Fight.
