PBGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr. Assumes Post as New Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON

Camp BGen Vicente P Lim- PBGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr. took the helm of leadership today after he assumed his post as the newly installed Regional Director of Police Regional Office CALABARZON in a Turn-Over Ceremony held at Bigkis-Lahi Event Center, Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Calamba City.
The symbolic turn over ceremony was presided over by no less than the Chief PNP PGEN Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. The Office Symbol Property, Equipment Inventory Book, Unit Saber, Unit Color, and Property Book were turned over by the outgoing Regional Director, PBGEN Antonio C Yarra humbly accepted by the incoming Regional Director. The ceremony was witnessed by some PNP officers from the PNP National Headquarters, former RDs of PRO4A, members of the local government of Laguna, AFP Officers, media practitioners, families, relatives, and friends of the outgoing and incoming RD. The occasion was also watched via zoom of other PNP units in observance with the minimum health protocols.
Delivering his message, the newly appointed Regional Director PBGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr. acknowledged the achievements of his predecessors and the previous regional directors of PRO CALABARZON for making the PRO CALABARZON the most recognized and progressive region in the whole country. He asked the cooperation and support of all the PRO 4A personnel as he took the leadership of the Regional Office. He emphasized the importance of accountability and command responsibility in every police operation to every Police Station.
 
   
 
  
 
Meanwhile, the outgoing Regional Director PBGEN Antonio C Yarra, Jr expressed his gratitude for the time he spent with the men and women of PRO4A while leading the regional command towards its goal to make CALABARZON region the safest place in the entire country. He presented the significant accomplishments and successful projects that was made possible with the help of the responsive community and other uniformed personnel counterparts.
The Chief PNP, PGEN Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr. congratulated both the incoming and the outgoing Regional Director while reiterating his peace and security program dubbed as Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran or the MKK=K in the performance of the mandated duty as a police officer. He also expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders and community that continuously support the plans and programs of the PNP. He further emphasized the significance of the “KASIMBAYANAN” (Kapulisan, Simbahan at Pamayanan) which focused on the Spiritual and Moral enhancement of PNP Personnel towards the attainment of our PNP Mission and Vision.
Prior to his designation, as the newly installed Regional Director, he served as the Director of Finance Service at NHQ. The Newly appointed Regional Director was a proud member of Philippine Military Academy ‘Tanglaw-Diwa’ Class of 1992. A multi-talented, skilled, responsible leader and an achiever who led the Philippine National Police Services as the Best National Administrative Support Unit in the last 121st Police Service Anniversary held at the National Headquarters, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
In his message, he expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the PNP organization. “As your new Regional Director, I will continue the plans and programs that promotes the welfare and development of every police personnel of PRO 4A. I accept this position as a challenge so that I will perform my duties and obligation in my full capacity. I am expecting that you will also do your best to serve the public so we can gain their trust and support towards the attainment peace and progress in our region. I am very grateful to the leadership of the PNP Organization especially to our Chief PNP PGEN Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. for trusting me and giving me this opportunity to be your new Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON.” RD Nartatez said.
